A positive relationship exists between sensitivity to rhythm and progress in reading.
The Rhythm for Reading Programme is evidence-based and has been tried and tested in mainstream and special schools. It offers a cumulative structure and supports an inclusive, systematic and multi-sensory approach to the teaching of early reading.
